Elizabeth City, NC – November 10, 2015. Mid-Atlantic Christian University supports the men and women of law enforcement who are sworn to serve and protect. MACU honors all those who serve the citizens of our community and this year has chosen to recognize the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Department with a letter of appreciation and a meal in the college cafeteria. Those who serve on the Sheriff's Department put their lives on the line each day as they maintain the peace, enforce the law and keep our citizens safe.
On Monday, November 9, 2015, Professor Ronnie Woolard and Nicole Sershen, Administrative Assistant for Vice President of Institutional Advancement met with Sheriff Randy Cartwright to express their support for the work of the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Department in serving the community. Professor Woolard presented Sheriff Randy Cartwright with a letter that reads, in part, “Mid-Atlantic Christian University thanks you and the men and women of the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Department for your dedication to serve and protect our communities. Their service to our communities is invaluable.”
As a tangible gift of appreciation and gratitude, MACU provided one complimentary meal ticket for each member of the sheriff's department to dine in the cafeteria. MACU is proud to honor those who serve.
